The Body Art Expo takes exhibitors from states including California, Florida, Michigan and Nevada on a tour around the country to tattoo. This is the Expo’s first year visiting Portland/Vancouver, and it drew a mixed response from Portland’s tattoo community. One local shop joined the event for its inaugural weekend: Forbidden Body Art from SE Stark St., which is also a school for tattoo artists. Jessica, co-owner of the shop and director of Forbidden School of Body Art, explained the experience of 12-hour tattooing days while working on a client this Sunday.
