If you are ever in need of a good morning, a local java spot may just give you what you need to start the day. My favorite place to sit, relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee is just down the street on Rosa Parks Way, Grindhouse Coffee.

All of their beans are from one of Portland’s very own, Extracto Coffee.

Grindhouse also has some of the best breakfast sandwhiches including a customer favorite, “The Works,” consisting of egg, cheese, tomato, onion and a bagel (options on various cheeses and bagels).

All of their pastries are delivered daily to the shop from local Portland bakery, Fleur De Lis Bakery & Cafe.

This shop is about as local as it gets that fits the role of a good, quaint neighborhood coffee shop. When there is a really nice morning with the sun shining, I just can’t help myself to go get a mocha and a bagel sandwich while leisurely reading at their outdoor seating.

Whats the cross street of the coffee shop? sounds like a good spot might have to check it out.

Cool find. I would have liked to read more about this place. What’s it like? Who goes there? Is it crowded, pricey? Any specialty or unique drinks? Liked the link to Extracto Coffee, but would have rather had you write about what it was in the post.
