Inspired by Macklemore himself with his newest hit “Thrift Shop,” you can still look good with cheap clothes. No shopping at Nordstrom or Macy’s; the thrift store is a better choice for your wallet. Recommendations in the Portland area are the popular Goodwill, Buffalo Exchange, and Plato’s closet. Marshall’s, Ross, and Burlington Coat Factory are also great stores that can be good friends with your wallet.

Most college students are struggling with their money and don’t have the money to buy all sorts of expensive clothes. Shopping at the mall is out of the question, unless you’re going to Marshall’s or Ross. So the option today is to take a trip to the thrift stores.
